Anna-Julia Szabo

Anna-Julia Szabo lives in Basel, Switzerland. She was fortunate enough to grow up in a family where solution focused conversations were normal. She now works as a teacher in primary school, applying SF in school with the children, parents and colleagues. She is amazed at the possibilities and the variety with which SF can be used. She also works as a coach and is starting to train teachers in using SF in school.

Bodil Mickels

BODIL MICKELS Supervisor (STO ry) and Trainer, Mediator. Candidate of Social Sciences, Mag. (psychology, sociology) Master of Sports Science (sports, sports administration) Over 30 years of work experience including roles as a teacher, child and youth work, HR manager, administrative tasks, project work, private entrepreneur. Extensive experience as a supervisor and mediator in areas such as social and health care, education, administration, youth work, organizations, and businesses. Supervision and coaching for managers. Professional support discussions and crisis work. As a trainer, includes basic and advanced training for supervisors, mediation, organizational development and change processes, workplace well-being.

Brian Jennings

Brian has long experience as an educator in higher education. He holds degrees in Philosophy, Theology and Education. He recently completed the Certificate in Solution Focus Practice with Changes, Birmingham. For the last 26 years he has served as a Lecturer, specialising in Ethics in Ghana Christian University College (a faith based higher education institution). In 2012 he became the Institutional Quality Coordinator for the College. It is in this later context that he has adopted SF based approaches to quality review and team development and planning.

Dominik Godat

Dominik Godat and his partner Elfie Czerny are passionately spreading the art of co-creating better conversations in organisations and beyond. He is a solution-focused practitioner, author, trainer, and co-founder of SF on Tour and the Center for Solution Focused Leadership & Conversations. Dominik and Elfie host the SIMPLY FOCUS podcast and have visited many of the pioneers of Solution-Focus and Microanalysis of Face-to-Face Dialogue. In the last few years, they have developed integrated Microanalysis of Face-to-Face Dialogue concepts to enhance Leadership Conversations.

Elfie Czerny

Elfie Czerny is co-director of the Centre for Solution Focused Conversation and Leadership - an internationally active centre for the dissemination and further development of solution-focused practice. Together with her partner and their daughter, they spent 2 1/2 years on the road in their solution-focused motorhome in Europe and North America with “SF on Tour”. In the SIMPLY FOCUS Podcast, she shares her enthusiasm for the diversity of solution-focused practice with Dominik Godat. Elfie Czerny is the author of various professional articles, publisher of the card set “Solutions on the Track - 50 Inspiring Ideas for Leaders” and the book “The Fascination of Solution Focus - How to Create the Future You Want with a Focused Eye” as well as a board member of the Austrian Solution Circle (ASC).

Fiona Turner

Fiona Turner is working in education at Catholic Education Melbourne on a large-scale project. As Product Owner, eLearn, Fiona works with teams delivering enterprise technologies to schools in Victoria. Her role involves liaising with school personnel and project teams to provide contemporary learning technologies for teachers to improve student learning. Previously, Fiona had worked as a curriculum coordinator and teacher in primary schools in Melbourne. Fiona is an accredited coach with Growth Coaching International and has a certificate in Solution Focus Coaching.

Joe Chan

A youth work practitioner for the past two decades, Joe specialises in working with children and youths in the community. Joe enjoys the challenges and thrills of this work. He started as a caseworker himself, overseeing individuals, families and programmes until today where he heads the Youth Service of REACH Community Services Society (Singapore). With his dedication to coach his team of social workers, counsellors and youth workers, the team reaches out to over 800 youths every month all over Singapore through its holistic services and programmes. His training in social work helps to provide a systems perspective to complex issues and problems. Being trained in the Solution Focused Approach in both therapy and coaching offers a unique way of looking at individuals across a broad spectrum of needs and goals.

Katalin Hankovszky

Katalin Hankovszky Christiansen M.A., PCC is an independent trainer and coach. Coming from a pedagogical background, she has work in the business and training environments since 1995. She leads the Hungarian faculty of Solutionsurfers, is a SOLWorld enthusiast from the very beginning and has invested some years in educational research. Katalin is training teachers to use Solution-Focus as learning design in the classroom.

Mari Juote

Mari Juote-Pesonen works as a trainer, coach and educational specialist at University of Helsinki Palmenia Centre for continuing Education. She designs and delivers training and development programs and applies solution focused ideas widely in her work. She is also a mindfulness teacher. Reviewed Piece of Work: HRD-Team development process (2012) The piece of work was carried out with a small HRD-team in a public organization. The aim of the process was to support change process of the team. The process lasted for six months including five half of a day workshops. The goal was to provide a co-creation process in which the HRD-team could co-construct its own desired future and appropriate work procedures. In addition, the team members wanted to learn and develop their individual facilitation skills and create new HRD-products. I was privileged to work during the process with my solution focused colleague and coach Kerttu Autio from Turku University.
