The InterAction Collection
OF SOLUTION FOCUS PRACTICE IN ORGANISATIONS · Vol 18 - 2026 Edition

Welcome to the 2026 Edition

Jan 19, 2026

John Brooker & Annie Bordeleau

We connect, interact and grow with Solution Focus practitioners globally, so that together we spread, nurture and sustain the seeds of Solution Focus within organisations.

The SFiO InterAction Collection is more than a library of articles, podcasts and videos, it’s a living, evolving archive of how Solution Focus (SF) is practiced in organisations around the world.

All the content is contributed by experienced and generous SF practitioners, consultants, coaches, leaders, and trainers, who share what actually works in organisational contexts. The stories shared in this year’s 2026 edition are grounded in practical applications of SF in leadership, change, education, and team development.

In this year’s edition you will find a diverse array of content, including:

  • Case Studies: Detailed accounts of SF applications in real-world organisational settings.
  • Applications: Practical tools and methodologies for implementing SF principles.
  • Conversations: Interviews and discussions with seasoned SF practitioners.
  • Book Reviews: Insights into literature pertinent to SF practices.

What we appreciate most is that this collection reflects the open, collaborative spirit of our SF community. Contributors don’t just describe successes, they share experiments, lessons learned, and evolving ideas, helping others grow through authentic reflection.

Feel free to tap into our rich “living” archive of continuously updated and curated content. This dynamic resource grows as the practice itself evolves.

In this edition we will also feature some videos, audios and articles that we have discovered on solution focus in organisations from earliers years that we have yet to publish, so that there is a central source of these materials.

Do let the editors know if there is a particular topic you have experience and / or knowledge of and would like featured by connecting and sharing an outline of what you would like to submit. We encourage people who wish to submit features, but may be a little nervous. The editors can help you polish your final product.

You can also contribute by presenting a topic in one of our Global Online Chapter sessions, with attendees from many different countries worldwide, or we can arrange for a contributor to interview you if you have a great story to tell.

Overall, the InterAction Collection, with resources stemming back to 2008, serves as a valuable resource for professionals seeking to explore and apply Solution Focus methodologies in organisational settings and is published thanks to the support from our SFiO financial contributors.

Looking for broader academic articles?

If you wish to find materials beyond the purely organisational features in the InterAction Collection, you might like to search on the Journal of Solution Focus Practices site. These articles are more academic in nature.
